The Friends of Old Woman Creek and Vermilion Valley Vineyards recently teamed up to produce a new wine, Estuary Red, a sweet and smooth port named for Old Woman Creek estuary. It was launched at a recent event at the winery in Wakeman. Ten dollars from every bottle sold will benefit the Friends’ organization. The bottle carries the Friends’ logo and explains the estuary. 

Among those who helped get this project off the ground were Rhonda Watt, of the Friends group, and Joe Juniper, co-owner of the winery, 11005 Gore Orphanage Road, Wakeman. Thank you for your support!
