Each year, the FOWC has provided funding for one or more summer interns. This year, Sam Clare, a rising sophomore, and Environmental Studies major at Haverford College in PA, is our environmental education intern. She has connected with visitors and shared her love of the natural world with them. She is from Madison, CT, where she enjoys hiking in local state parks, reading and spending time with her beloved dog, Dixie.
